Programs

FILMMAKERS LAB ~ is a hands on education program that teaches members how to make a film, from start to finish. We have created three short films, "Accidental Date" and  “Aftermath” which have each won several film festival awards, respectively and we just wrapped "Splendor of You" which is in post production.  We have also produced an entire season of the musical talk show "PS After Dark" starring actor Tristan Rogers and musician Tim Gross. The lab was created to educate our members on how to make a film by making a film. Read more on Filmmakers Lab page.

SCHOLARSHIPS ~ are available for students entering post-secondary education programs in fields related to PSWIFT’s mission. The Palm Springs Women in Film and Television Patti Gribow Student Scholarship was created to provide financial aid to a high school student in the field of filmmaking or a closely-related field such as theater/drama, writing or entertainment. The Palm Springs Women in Film and Television Post-Secondary Filmmakers Scholarship was created to provide financial aid and incentive to students of film and beginning filmmakers who are already enrolled at local colleges.
